OUR CHAPTER PRESIDENT
Madam C.J. Walker declared, “I want to live to help my race.” It is with humbleness of heart and perseverance in spirit that I humbly embrace this re-election to the office of President of the National Coalition of 100 Black Women, Las Vegas Chapter. I look forward to leading alongside my Coalition sisters, both locally and nationally, as we further our programmatic initiatives in Health, Education and Economic Empowerment UNAPOLOGETICALLY on behalf of African American Woman and Girls. It is my endeavor to add to the dynamic foundation whose charge was first led by our Chartering President, the late Dr. Sandra F. Mack and nourished by every Officer, Director and Sister of this Organization. Collectively, as an Organization, I look forward to strengthening & building our partnerships while expanding our programmatic impact. Join us, as I believe the old adage that there IS strength in numbers. I leave you with the words of our First National President, Ms. Jewel Jackson McCabe, “We’ve got to have a legacy of leadership. We’ve got to bring along with us a generation of black women who are going to confront twenty-first-century realities.”
In Sisterhood,
Tricia A. Bookhart
President, National Coalition of 100 Black Women, Las Vegas Chapter
